Farewell to Mark Worsey: Celebrating 41 Remarkable Years at Buzzacott

After an incredible 41-year career at Buzzacott, today we say goodbye to partner Mark Worsey, as he retires from Buzzacott and embarks on a new chapter with his family in Norfolk.

Throughout his time with us, Mark has worked across many of our teams, serving an impressive range of clients from charities and owner-managed businesses to large international corporations and public companies. Mark’s expertise and strategic insights have made him a trusted figure in the business community, and his impact has left a lasting mark on our firm.

As the former Chair of PrimeGlobal, Mark has been described by the association as a ‘guiding force behind its evolution, growth and success, helping to shape it into the inspiring and progressive association it is today’. Under Mark’s leadership, PrimeGlobal was awarded the IAB Association of the Year three times in four years. An advocate for the environment and sustainability, Mark also helped PrimeGlobal to define their commitment to sustainability programmes. This year Mark supported them in winning the prestigious IAB Sustainability Initiative award. His role with PrimeGlobal has also been key to expanding Buzzacott’s international reach and bringing a global perspective to our work.

Although Mark is retiring from Buzzacott, he isn’t leaving the accounting world entirely. He and his family will be relocating to Norfolk, where he will continue to share his expertise as a consultant with Larking Gowen, which fittingly, is also part of PrimeGlobal. While he will be greatly missed, we are thrilled that he will continue to share his wealth of knowledge with businesses in his new community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mark for his service, and wish him every success with his move. Norfolk is gaining a true professional and we have no doubt that Mark’s impact will continue to be felt locally and globally.
