Dom joined Buzzacott in 2022 and is a Senior Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Dom provides a wide variety of work from US and UK tax compliance and reporting, to tailored advice to fit his clients’ individual needs. This advice includes anything from moving to and from the US and the UK, reviewing the ownership and sale of property and other assets, and expatriation.
The main challenge Dom’s clients face is the interaction between both the US and UK tax systems and ensuring the meet all compliance obligations, while avoiding double taxation. Dom specialises in residency and domicile, and can assist clients through the complexities of these rules to optimise their US tax and UK tax positions.
Dom is a member of Buzzacott’s Technical Committee and helps to run our internal training group to support and develop the upcoming future tax advisers in the Expatriate Tax Services team.
Dom is an enrolled agent and a chartered tax adviser, and he won an award for the highest total marks across his Association of Taxation Technicians exams.
Prior to Buzzacott Dom worked in the US/UK tax team at a mid-tier firm for six years.
Outside of work, Dom is a keen runner, and often runs in local amateur races and in Saturday morning park runs. He also enjoys football and supports Norwich City.
