Frances joined Buzzacott in 2012 and is a Client Payroll Manager in our Corporate Business Services team.
She works with a wide variety of clients from across all sectors, typically supporting them with the complex HMRC rules for employers which are under constant review.
Frances is the Payroll team’s pensions specialist, she and the rest of the team keep abreast of current legislation surrounding employment and calculation of liability and entitlements. They run payrolls regularly and report additional benefits annually on P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA). As part of Buzzacott, she and the team work closely with management accounts as well as Buzzacott’s pensions and HR Consulting teams. Frances also works closely with our tax consultants and all other areas where clients have employees.
Before joining Buzzacott, Frances was a full time carer for her children and then her parents. Prior to that she was a systems software consultant. She is qualified in manual and computerised bookkeeping and has also completed two years of the CIPP foundation degree, making her an Advanced Practitioner.
Away from the office, her principle interests are animals, ecology and music. Formerly, she was an equine professional, her daughter now keeps the horses and has bred two of her own. Frances also plays the violin and enjoys playing folk music.
