Gurveet Singh - Director

Gurveet joined Buzzacott in 2011 and is a Director in our Expatriate Tax Services team.

Gurveet has a large and varied portfolio of clients, which includes self-employed individuals, hedge fund managers, settlors and beneficiaries of offshore trusts, video game producers and sound mixers. He is a dual US and UK tax handler for high net worth American citizens in the UK and British citizens in the US. 

Gurveet’s role is to help clients overcome tax challenges through tax compliance and advisory services, with a focus on adding value. His specialist areas of expertise include late filers, tax residence and domicile matters, expatriation and US estate and UK Inheritance Tax planning.

Gurveet often works with Buzzacott’s Corporate Tax team, who are able to deal with his clients’ corporate tax matters while ensuring risks associated with US controlled foreign entities are managed. He also works with Buzzacott’s Financial Planning team who assist with pension planning and dual qualified tax efficient investments in both jurisdictions. 

Prior to Buzzacott, Gurveet worked as a tax consultant for three years. He is qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and a US Enrolled Agent (EA).

Outside of work, Gurveet enjoys playing cricket, likes to travel and learn about different cultures.
