Jamie is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CIOT), Associated Taxation Technician (ATT) and US qualified as an IRS Enrolled Agent.

He specialises in tax planning and structuring advice, supporting cross-border business tax matters with a UK/US focus.

Recent guidance has included:

Supporting clients expanding to the US to structure fund-flows and repatriation of profits to manage global effective tax rates
Advising US/UK taxpayers on managing the mismatch in tax treatments of US LLCs between the IRS and HMRC
Providing structuring and compliance advice for businesses with internationally mobile employees
Helping internationally headed groups structure their UK expansion.

Jamie uses his US tax knowledge to provide UK corporate tax compliance services to UK entities of US-owned groups while considering the US requirements.

He spent three months seconded to a PrimeGlobal associate firm based in Seattle to better his understanding of US tax implications for international businesses.

Outside the office, Jamie enjoys watching American sports, cooking and being a dad.
