Kamlesh joined Buzzacott in late 2022 and is a Director in our VAT Consultancy team.
He works with a broad range of organisations, within both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors but specialises in the issues affecting financial services, FinTech, M&A, and property businesses.
Kam understands that VAT legislation is complex, burdensome, and constantly evolving. Therefore, he supports his clients by providing them with clarity related to VAT issues, so that they can focus on the more important day-to-day running of their business.
Alongside his team, Kam helps clients with any VAT issues concerning capital projects, partial exemption, VAT recovery and engaging with HMRC in respect of disputes, clearances, and enquiries.
Before joining Buzzacott, he worked at a mid-tier firm for ten years and worked for a top 10 accountancy firm for a further ten years; he also spent a year at a “big four” firm. Kam is a member of the VAT Practitioners Group and regularly writes and presents on VAT issues.
Away from the office, Kam enjoys sports, reading crime thriller and mystery books and spending time with his young children and family.
