Katherine joined Buzzacott in 2022 and is an Associate Director in our Charity team.
Katherine works with a wide range of charities including international charities, grant giving trusts and a range of education clients. Her work includes external audits, as well as providing trustee training on financial areas, sector developments and board governance.
Katherine understands that no two days are the same for her clients, whether it's navigating system changes, managing unusual transactions, overseeing charity mergers, or responding to the impact of external events. She is always available to discuss issues, offer a second opinion and advise on the implications for the accounts and audit process.
She currently co-ordinates our internal Charity Technical Group, ensuring our team and clients stay up to date on current issues, including developments in FRS 102 and the Charities SORP, as well as responding to consultations on sector changes.
Katherine works closely with our Not-For-Profit tax and VAT teams, ensuring her clients benefit from a collaborative, comprehensive service.
With a diploma in Charity Accounting, she brings extensive experience working with both charity and corporate clients, having gained valuable insight through her roles at BDO and Mazars.
Outside work, Katherine enjoys travelling and photography.
