Louise Day - Manager

Louise joined Buzzacott in 2012 and is a Manager in our Private Client team. 

In addition to being a chartered tax adviser, Louise is also TEP qualified, supporting trusts and estates to adjust to changes in tax legislation and reporting requirements and understand how these changes affect them. She advises on actions clients can take to remain compliant and minimise tax exposure wherever possible. She also advises on the taxation of trusts and structures, including all tax consequences of making distributions or winding up a trust. 

Louise specialises in supporting clients with all aspects of the probate and estate administration processes, including preparing Inheritance Tax (IHT) forms following the death of an individual, applying for the grant of probate and advising on the distribution of an estate from a tax-efficient perspective. 

She works closely with Buzzacott’s Financial Planning, VAT Consultancy and Expatriate Tax teams, offering her clients a holistic approach to their financial affairs. Working collaboratively with these teams, Louise is able to support with investments and pensions, VAT considerations, or US ties such as clients who are US residents or have US investments. 

Prior to Buzzacott, Louise had roles working in personal tax, where she worked with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and trusts. 

Outside of the office, Louise likes to run and swim. She can also be found being spending time with her family.
