Mark joined Buzzacott in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
He works with a wide range of clients, but mostly US citizens who reside in the UK, as well as some high net worth individuals. Mark commonly advises clients on share options, pensions, and global mobility with particular focus on employee secondments to and from the UK/US. He and the team also advise on other areas such as Inheritance Tax planning and UK and US residency matters.
For US clients, there are lots of investment and corporate issues to consider that affect their taxes, so Mark often works closely with our Financial Planning and Corporate teams.
Mark has a BA (Hons) Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and is both CTA (UK) and EA (US) qualified. Before joining Buzzacott he spent 18 months as a Middle Office analyst at a hedge fund on the equity derivatives trading desk.
Away from his desk he enjoys swimming and is also a keen traveller, looking to visit as many countries and experience as many cultures as possible
