
Rakhee is a Partner in our Corporate Business Services team and leads our IFRS financial reporting and advisory services for clients in the financial services sector.
She has extensive experience working with FCA-regulated entities, including fund managers, investment advisors, private equity firms, and corporate finance boutiques. Rakhee acts as a strategic advisor to her clients, overseeing all aspects of their UK financial reporting, accounting, and compliance requirements.
Much of Rakhee’s portfolio comprises US inbound and multinational firms operating across complex regulatory environments. She is known for her practical, hands-on approach and deep understanding of the UK reporting framework, particularly UK GAAP and IFRS. Rakhee regularly supports clients with group consolidations, IFRS adoption, and financial reporting following mergers and acquisitions.
A key part of her work involves helping start-ups (particularly those entering the UK market for the first time) to establish their UK operations, navigate local accounting requirements, and put the right reporting infrastructure in place from the outset.
She works closely with Buzzacott’s specialist teams, including Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Tax, Audit and Assurance, and Corporate Finance, to deliver a seamless service tailored to each client’s evolving needs.
Rakhee began her career at PwC in Harare, Zimbabwe, before moving to PKF in London, and joined Buzzacott in 2009.
She was named as one of 2021's 50 leading women in hedge funds by the Hedge Fund Journal. Its annual report "recognises and congratulates the truly ground-breaking women" in the sector. You can read the full report here.
She is a member of 100 Women in Finance and AIMA. Away from her desk, Rakhee enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, reading historical novels, and is a passionate cricket fan.
