Ross joined Buzzacott in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in our Corporate Assurance team.
Ross specialises in audit, working primarily with financial services companies, including asset management firms, financial advisers and broker-dealers. He also works with recruitment and technology companies and professional practices such as architects, accountants and tax advisers.
Ross works with both UK and overseas groups. In particular, he has experience working with overseas entities unfamiliar with UK GAAP and the application of FRS 102 when preparing financial statements for their UK subsidiaries, ensuring that they include all the relevant disclosures.
Within the team, Ross assists with the training of new audit associates in using financial reporting software and has developed new methods to streamline the audit process.
Ross is an ACA qualified accountant and before joining Buzzacott, he was a project management consultant at IBM.
Away from his desk, he practises Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, sleight-of-hand magic and enjoys reading.
