This first institutional round comes at an exciting time for the business in its growth journey and the strategic partnership with Upfield will accelerate the company’s plans to scale distribution and innovation.
OGGS is a vegan bakery firm and the brand name of Alternative Foods London, a producer of a vegan alternative to eggs. The company has secured investment from Upfield, the largest plant-based consumer product company in the world.
We really enjoyed supporting a mission-driven management team and business, which brought an additional level of excitement to the transaction. Finding the right investor from a strategic perspective was particularly important for the team at this stage in their journey, so really challenging investors to demonstrate how they would add value was crucial to a successful outcome for our client. We worked closely with the team from the initial stages of finding the right investor through to each stage of the transaction to completion.
