Our beginnings
Fred Buzzacott, a munitions accountant from Devon established the practice on Fleet Street.
Foundations for growth
Watson O’Regan & co acquired Buzzacott Lillywhite, laying the foundations for what would become Buzzacott.
Strategic expansion
Partners Brian O'Regan and David Watson drove the firm’s growth through a merger with Down Kilner and Bobby Vincent, who later becomes Chairman.
The acquisition of Lescher Stephens strengthened the firm’s position as a specialist adviser to charities.
Evolving our expertise
A new generation of partners focused on niche specialisms, shifting the firm from service-based departments to client-focused teams.
The acquisition of Fiscal Solutions expanded the firm’s VAT expertise.
Creating a legacy
The Buzzacott Stuart Defries Memorial Fund was established in memory of Partner Stuart Defries, supporting charitable causes close to people’s hearts.
A new chapter
We moved to 130 Wood Street, our current base, and achieved zero landfill.
In 2014, we saved 56 tonnes of CO2 through our recycling initiatives.
